More and more often I'm finding that the basics in my closet make the best outfits.

I'm in love with this simple outfit of basics- Grey jeans, a white tee, and a black cardigan. Black booties and a blue agate necklace finish it off. I have reluctantly returned these earrings to Rocksbox, but I will be looking to purchase them in the future. They were perfect to wear with scarves or an outfit like this where you want the necklace to shine.

Some of this is inspired by the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday and some of it I just came across browsing all the new releases online.
Of course this "love" sweater is perfect for Valentine's Day and I love the red tassel on that bracelet. A denim jacket is always a nice casual touch to an outfit, but this one is upgraded with a ruffle. Oh my!
I keep thinking I want to add a blush cardigan to my closet and I've been eyeing this one and this one. Trenches and polka dots are supposed to be big this spring and Banana Republic gloriously combined the two into this trench. (yes, it's a little out of my budget right now, but fun to look at.)
